This is a lovely Waring & Gillow oak hall cupboard
Made by the renowned Lancastrian based firm of Waring & Gillow Ltd (the name plate inside the door along with impressed stamp above the open door)
This wonderful oak piece is raised on a plinth base and features three rows of field panels with the upper row displaying carved linen folds beneath a decorative row of half-flute carvings capped with quadrant moulding
Inside the hall cupboard
there is a top shelf which is good for scarves, hats etc
There are original brass hooks
The upper features two brass coat hooks to the rear and a central triple hook suspended from the top
To the rear of the door, a framed, square mirror plate
